Patients do one of three things when they reach their goal weight. Some patients have created habits while taking the medication that lets them maintain their goal weight after stopping. Other patients go off and on again as needed. There are also patients that take a small maintenance dose to maintain goal weight. It is up to each individual patient to choose which option works best for them.
The most common side effects of Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are nausea and constipation. We encourage patients to stay in communication with us while taking the medication so we can help manage side effects.
No, we do not take insurance. We do take FSA and HSA cards if you have one. These are health savings cards that you would have signed up for along with insurance.
Weight loss is very individualized to each patient. Some patients lose faster than others. Like other medications, everyone tolerates these medications differently. Average weight loss is 1-2 lbs per week. Some lose more, some less.
